In the shadows of Ely Cathedral
Another early start this morning and was feeling surprisingly motivated so got up and was out of the house and running towards Ely before 7am. The sun was a glorious hovering orange ball in the sky with the cathedral beautifully silhouetted against it. I was so enjoying exploring the little paths and parks around the Cathedral that I hardly noticed I was running. Perfect.
Meanwhile, the man of the house was busy preparing a fridge worth of fruit ready for our morning smoothies. I could totally get used to that.
Then, after helping the man of the house recycle about two years worth of junk it was off to the cathedral again for a picnic in the sunshine. It made as good a backdrop for a picnic as it did for a run.
Back in the Shrews Hood this evening and will be spending the rest of the week trying not to explode with excitement at the thought of another returning musketeer. CS, I've got five weeks worth of hugs saved up - which, as you know, isn't a great deal - but get ready.
