Ypres

Today didn't quite go to plan. What was supposed to be a seven hour journey took over ten hours, thanks to traffic jams, road works and the SatNavs complete insistence that the quicket route to take to get from Nuremberg to Ypres would be through the centre of Brussels during rush hour on a Friday! The ring road must have been truly awful if that really was a better option!

So we did not get to Ypres in time for the last post, and we arrived just after the hotel restaurant had closed down for the evening. So it was back into the car, to Ypres itself, for tea. The town centre did look pretty, but we were not really in a fit state to appreciate it!
