Trains

Another day of museums in Nuremberg.

The National Museum was a disappointment (we are so spoilt in the UK with the British Museum, the V&A and suchlike), but the Deutcshe Bahn Museum was surprisingly good, even with very little being in English. It was particularly fun watching grown men get ridiculously excited about steam trains!

This pic was taken in the final hall of the main exhibition, which is all rather funky, and looks at the technology being used to make the modern railways work.

After yesterday evening's political demonstrations, tonight saw the start of Nuremberg's (much smaller) answer to Munich's Oktoberfest. So much fun to be had, only slightly dampened by the rain!
