The President

Sadly the petals have seen a better day, but I couldn't resist a photo of this striking clematis on a beautiful September day. Every time I go to collect the dogs I take a photograph of the clematis which is growing just beside my friend's gate .... it is usually my blip for emergencies (not needed so far) but soon the flowers will fade and die and it will be too late for this year.
