Portsoy and Fyvie Castle

We had a great day today.

First of all we visited Portsoy with its 17th century harbour, a lovely place.
Then we headed to Fyvie Castle, and arrived just in time for a guided tour which was really interesting.  After that we had coffee and then had a walk around the lake, which was lovely.  Some extra photos too, one of the castle and one of our dinner venue!

And home via Banff Springs Hotel for a fab meal!

The weather has remained wonderful, warm and sunny.  We have been very fortunate.
