At lunchtime, I escaped from college and computers and went to watch the light changing on the Nith.
I sat and ate my lunch near this fisherman, who did a lot of talking and not much fishing. He was trying to catch flounders, or so I heard, and the best time to do that is when the tide is just coming in.
I shot this into the sun and I didn't have my polarising filter with me, but I just liked the huge sky, the clouds and the view over Criffel. 
I've enjoyed being away, but its good to come back to Dumfries and Galloway. I expect D will feel the same when he returns from Ethiopia this afternoon.
