Cuppa time

Another busy day - our annual Year 10 Sports Ed tournament.  Whilst rain was forecast for later in the day it - thankfully - never arrived, making for a perfect day.  

Highlight of the day was the inclusion of two netball teams - one of girls from the special girls school nearby and one from the Special Ed department.  When one of our very physically capable 14-year-old boys took a rebound after a missed shot from one of the Special Ed students, instead of passing it to a team mate to head down the court towards his own goal he instead passed it back to the girl who had missed the shot and encouraged her to have another go.  

They're the kind of moments that make teaching very sweet.  Very sweet indeed.

Had parent-teacher interviews after school so the evening cuppa was particulalry welcome this evening :)
