On the Rocks With a Splash
I have been asked to give a talk to the local Natural History Society (in January) on my wildlife photography. I realised that my images are vastly biassed in favour of birds.
I therefore set out to take some pictures of seals. I know a local spot where you can see seals on over 300 days of the year, so today, I got some great captures of some common seals (harbour seals), Phoca vitulin, including a yearling.
I have posted 6 of them on my Flickr Photostream. I nearly posted the one of the youngster posing because it has the 'Ahh' factor but felt this one was more pictorial (you are free to disagree).
