A great day out but ......

...... not with Wallace and Gromit, but with my sister!  I haven't been to Edinburgh Zoo for many, many years ..... so today was the day to pay it a visit.  The weather couldn't have been better, so armed with a picnic lunch and a camera with a spare battery L and I took the bus to Edinburgh.
It has been hard to choose a favourite foto but as I really wanted to see the penguins I have chosen two of the King Penguins who just stood like statues while the more active Gentoo penguins were swimming about at great speed.  I have included extras of the wonderful flamingo and the East African grey-crowned crane.
