Sand Lily - Pancratium maritimum

Pancratium maritimum - (maritimum means "of the sea”) - sand daffodil, sand lily, sea daffodil,  and lily of St. Nicholas. 
Beautiful wild flowers can have many names and this one is spread all around the Mediterranean, and even been spread to other parts of the world (see Wikipedia).
Because of coastal development it is threatened in places and here it is protected with information notices and small “fences" of pebbles protecting individual plants.
A very spectacular and lovely flower.
