Fun fair

Weardale hosts two large shows during the first two weekends in September. However, the highlight of show weekend is the travelling funfair which sets up in the two towns those weekends. This weekend is Stanhope Show. My brother lives there so we visited him today and took the girls down to the fun fair. I kept it a surprise from Ophelia, who was giddily excited when she saw the rides and stalls for the first time. We have had the most wonderful day and evening out.
