Turbulent sea

As we suspected it might be, given the high winds forecast for mid-morning, it was quite a rocky Channel crossing this morning. It soon became to seem like a quite a good idea to keep seated and we were obviously riding some pretty high waves. When the Captain said he was cutting speed by half to avoid damaging the vessel, we all sort of thought that might be quite a good idea too!!

There are obviously less exciting ways of crossing the Channel!
  
But now we are home.
