Solstice Sun
Hello Blippers! Hope your all well! :)
So, the longest day of the year... I decided I would get a picture of the sun as it went behind the trees, although I think I may have uploaded something similar in the past.
Not a great day at school - my best friend informed me (I think we have made up) that someone has tried to spread a false rumour about me. I won't mention what it is on here, but it's obviously not true, and I don't really care what he says, because no one likes or listens to him.
I got my chemistry results back today - I got an overall grade of 2-3, and I'm going to explain how the marks work (this could go on a bit)
There are 3 levels in Scotland - foundation, the lowest level (not important here), general, the middle level, and Credit, the highest level.
When we sit an exam/test, the marking scheme is split into two sections , Problem Solving, and Knowledge and Understanding. We always sit a general paper, and then a credit paper.
The levels you can get for general are a 3 (the higher result) or a 4 (the lower result)I got a 3-3 (3 for problem solving and 3 for knowledge and understanding). In credit the principal is the same - a 1 is the higher result, and a 2 is the lower result.
My marks for the credit were 2 and 7 (7 means fail), meaning I got a 2 for knowledge and understating, but failed the Problem Solving section. My overall grade was 2-3, which is general-credit level. Long explanation over!
In brighter news, I got an email from the ATC man, saying I probably will be doing my work experience at the airport! As amazing as that is, I now have to email the primary school and inform them that I'm not going, which I'm dreading. I don't like saying no to people!
Anyway, I've droned on a bit, so enjoy the solstice, and I'll blip again tomorrow!
Steven :)
