Hoverfly feeding

I was playing with my macro lens when this hoverfly decided it had a liking for the Geranium bloom I was photographing. I decided to abandon the Geranium and see if I could capture the hoverfly. I had a number of successful shots and today’s blip is the one I liked most. It appears to have been attracted to the stamens initially – is it feeding? For my extra I’ve chosen a lobelia close-up that I quite like.
