Horse festival

Today the badminton club members provided the stewarding for the annual Fête du Cheval.  I am not sure why the horsey people don't do their own stewarding but it was a pleasant enough afternoon talking to them and the public, even if it rankles a bit that the 20 tons of sand they throw over our badminton hall take a week to clear away and then the lines have to be repainted.  So, all in all, with preparation and clean up, we are without the hall for over two weeks!
