Witches' hats

When inspiration escapes me a blackening wax cap, also known as the witch's hat, conical wax cap or conical slimy cap, can always be relied on to produce a splash of colour and interest.

The "extra" photograph shows that living cheek by jowl can be very detrimental, even for waxcaps.
