Playing the pipes!

Not bagpipes, but water pipes on the back of 'daddy's' car! It's far too long since I saw these two little monkeys and we didn't have much time as they were off to a party. They had great fun shouting into the pipes and running to each end to look at each other.

Mary was too fast for me, I only got one slightly blurred shot of her, so I've chosen to show a few of Alex, who was having the best fun!!

After they left, their grandma and I picked 6 tons of damsons, but only a couple of pounds of apples as they're not ready yet, and a pound of plums because that's all that's left now. I'm making a frangipan and plum tart tonight ( hope the neighbours don't mind the telly being so loud but I need to hear it in the kitchen! ). Have suggested to Sav he might like to make a crumble with the apples when he wakes up tomorrow and then I'll hit into making damson jam next week. Can't tomorrow as will be in London watching the Radio 2 Festival In A Day, so I hope the Prom revellers that are there tonight leave the place tidy!

The extra is the kids mum, who had just come back from a hack out on sweet Roxy, who was a bit surprised by all the activity in the driveway, but soon adjusted and passed by with no sign of worry. She is such a lovely girl. I'm hoping her brother will prove the same, as I'm dying to ride him!
