Maybe we'll turn back the hands of time....
Ah. Lovely Day!
We took the last of Tooli's stuff over to her; yes, indeedy - one large family saloon with only two passengers was not enough to cart a bedroom's worth of things.
After looking at the photos, I decided that the bathroom would benefit from the Karcher, so it went in too.
We had a lovely drive though - i wanted to listen to my book, but soon realised that sitting beside Si, and trying not to talk is not easy for me, so I gave it up and yapped non stop all the way.
Tooli was not out of her bed.... but we soon woke her up and she got down three flights and helped her dad up with the stuff. I parked the car and toddled back.
The bathroom looked 100% better after my intervention :-) I think the rest of the girls have written both Si and me off as lunatics.
Then we headed out into the City. Si was desperate to have a shot on the trams. Tooli, could not understand our interest, but came along and indulged her Daddy, because that's what the two of them do.
We also ate - that is given. We have to feed the child. We did Cheese Shop - more indulgence for Daddy; and we even did DEBENHAMS!
Tooli was almost passing out by this stage. Freshers' Week has taken it's toll on her, and there's another party tonight - so we gave up after Waterstones and she sped off in the direction of her flat as fast as her little, dance - drunk - party weary legs would carry, with ne'er a backward glance in our directions.
We love our wee baby and it makes our hearts happy to see her so happy and comfy and settled in the City.
