Welcome to the village

The floor is almost finished and looking good although I think I should have stuck out for a richer colour, but JJ liked it and it does fit in well with the kitchen units.

I had to walk up to the Chemists this morning to pick up a prescription and although I was expecting rain, it was hot and sunny.  In fact it's been a great day with huge billowing white clouds passing by every now and again.  See extra.

I love the flowers outside this thatched cottage and thought it would do for today's offering.
