Kitchen

The strike is still going but we didn't need to babysit today......My really good friend R took me to our favorite neighborhood restaurant with the fabulous smoked mussels to celebrate my birthday AND she made me 75 frozen cheese olive puff balls, since she knows I don’t like to cook….  How cool is that?  Just bake when needed for appetizers. 

I do like some things in my kitchen tho’ —these wooden utensils sit on the counter - more for looks than use, for several reasons.  (like, what would I pound with that hammer thingy when I don't eat meat?)
