Quince bush

The main photo is of the quince bush which is loaded with fruit which I must pick soon before it rots.   The extra photo is of the Cryptic crossword magazine, bought today, which I'm hoping will guide me into becoming a better cryptic crossword puzzle solver!   I have just joined a cryptic crossword group because I want to improve my brain power before it is too late!
