PR girls wot lunch

I work with a girl called Laura who I almost wish I didn't work with. I say that in the nicest possible way. But work gets in the way of what would otherwise be an amazing friendship. But she works for me and I am always a bit wary of being too chummy because of that. I have been burnt before!

We met for lunch today (selfie in my lunch outfit). It's about 6 months since we socialised together. And I remember why now. We are a nightmare! We sat outside at a table in Alderley Edge and I'm sure the other diners were fully aware we were there. We are like a pair of foghorns! Laughing and talking over one-another. Wine was involved.

She almost made me late for the school run (coffee was needed) again with her anecdotes but we had a great afternoon. With a little smidgen of work thrown in. I'm getting to like this new relaxed working vibe!
