Left Bank Cafe

One of my Manchester mornings.

As my meeting at the Town Hall started at 9.30am, I parked at New Bayley and walked along the Irwell. One New Bayley was topped out this week - it is looking good. See the extra.

I stopped for a coffee and to do some work, at the Left Bank Cafe. This is part of the People's History Museum, which I think I am right in saying is the only national museum in Manchester. It's a really good place, well worth a visit. And the cafe is excellent value. Covering the walls of the cafe is a big blow up photo of working people enjoying a big street party after the Second World War - endlessly fascinating. Who blipped that I wonder.

The other person in the cafe early morning is doing what I am doing !
