Breakfast

Well, the sun has disappeared again...

The hen is taking the chicks all round the neighbourhood these days, and it does brighten my day when I see them.  I ran out with some porridge oats when they appeared near the back door.  The chicks are one month and one day old now, as they hatched on 10th August: they are mainly feathered now, but still have fluffy heads.
