Verbena Bonarensis

Today has been a lovely day, warm and sunny!
This morning we walked into town to get some necessities and post a card to Australia for mum.......then back home, a quick sandwich for lunch....before our quarterly trip to Costco to stock up, primarily on meat and cleaning products, for ourselves and sons and their families ;-)

We got back and spent a pleasant couple of hours in the garden, lovely and warm.

This is a tall leggy plant that stands proud at the back of one of our borders...the butterflies and bees love it, as do I!

Chicken salad for dinner........something light, as its quizzing tonight :-)
