Out and About!

Spent the morning wandering around the Danforth area...i love this area...bookstores, cafes etc.....and basically had a bit of a breather to myself for a few hours.

Spent the afternoon with Jane and Lynne at the AGO, viewing the Picasso exhibition! It was so interesting and enlightening. What a guy he was! Not exactly the type of man you'd want to be involved with romantically, but wow, what energy he had!

Then we headed down to Queen Street and had a great dinner together. Bronwyn met us there, after her 5 hours of exam....she was exhausted but relieved! We headed home to find a window had blown in and scattered glass all over the bedroom she was meant to sleep in. I rented this lovely little apartment in downtown toronto for the 6 days we were there. it was a brilliant idea and we enjoyed it very much...other than our first night! but our landlady, Jenn....a lovely young woman, didn't miss a beat and headed over to the apartment, cleaned out her own bedroom and we used that! It was centrally located which also meant it was noisy. What a different vibe from the quiet woods i'm used to! luckily i travel with earplugs!
