Reflections and wakes

The Bishop's Glen, above Dunoon, is the site of our former reservoir (our water now comes from Loch Eck) and is now home to a family of swans. This afternoon we only saw one of this year's cygnets, now fully grown but still fluffy brown - I don't know if the others have vanished, or if they're more independent these days. I love the reflection of the curve of the young one's neck - and I love the v-shaped wakes of the ducks and coots as they come to investigate.
