Watering the Dirt

It's hard to see the green hills turn brown and dry.
It's harder to see every bit of topsoil scraped off and redistributed until the hills disappear.
It's hard to listen to the incessant beeping.
It's hard to see the dull coating of dust all over everything
It's harder still to see them watering the dirt
Even if the water is recycled, they could put it on the dying trees instead of on piles of dirtIt doesn't keep down the dust much anyway.
Here is the way it looked before the destruction began.
