Pretty in pink

Took this photo on my walk home from work. Have been outside with the kids and while keeping an eye on them I was enjoying the warmth of the sun but this was often interrupted by a rather cold brisk breeze. All that was missing was a few drops of rain and a flutter of snow to demonstrate how mixed up the weather has gotten (now I've probably jinxed things!)...

People always moan about the Scottish summer but my memories of childhood summers was blue skies and sunshine minus the cold winds. Is it too much to ask for the weather to co-operate with my no heating between April and September again? Please?
