Evening Sun..

..at this time of year, the whole of the crofts between us and the road are in shade in the early evening. The sun is getting lower in the sky.

Except for a ray or two that sneaks through a gap in the hill. Tonight it shone on these cocksfoot grasses..

It was quite cool this morning, and mainly overcast, so I went down the croft to do some weeding with T-shirt, rugby shirt, overalls, and midge jacket. Layers slowly peeled off as the afternoon progressed, and became a lovely sunny day. Tourists walked down the beach road, and stopped for chats. All are interested in what I'm growing, and why I came to live here..
