Three Neck Styles for Grey Herons.

Firstly thank you for the HUGE RESPONSE to yesterday's Brocken Spectre, you are so generous.

Lucky to see these grey herons close up as we entered the Port of Clarens today. On the way back to the Vieux Rhone we had an exciting sail, first time the boat was keeling over this year! All was fine until we put the engine on to take down the sails. One of the forward ropes had gone over the side streaming back to the stern of the boat where it tangled around the propeller! We won't make that mistake again. David had to hang off the back of the boat, still going at quite a lick, to free the propeller so the engine would start. We had to have a nap when we got home....
