Let's play hide and stag (2)

This young red deer stag has obviously reached the age where he doesn't want to hang around with the does and fawns anymore but he's not quite ready to join in with the big boys. I came across him rooting around on his own in the very tall bracken in Richmond Park. I think we were both a little surprised at first but I like to think I regained my composure the quickest to get a few shot off before he turned tail and disappeared. The title refers to what I think is one of my best shots this year, although this chap was altogether far more composed.
