Staffs and Worcs

This is the business end of one of today's many locks, taken before I knew the Mono Monday challenge for the day is "contrast." But, hey!

The good news is that we got the water pump replaced this morning. It was all done by 9:45am and at a very reasonable price, thanks to Oxley Marina, near Wolverhampton.

More disappointingly, having left the Shropshire Union Canal to join the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, I saw no more song boats.  Strange as four days on the Shroppie had produced almost 30.
