Web Cam, Albir

We've waited months and months for rain......
It has arrived!
Heavy, continuous, splendid rain!
This is a Web-Cam photo of Albir ....you can see the Anchor, beach, palm trees and the sea....taken just after 2pm......and it's been like this for several hours....
and with some luck, it'll continue .....
We need the rain to fill up the reservoirs....replenish the ground water etc
Am very sorry for the holiday makers , taking an early September break......this is not the weather they expected.
And I hope that there is minimum flooding....up and down the coast.

I was driving along the main N332, linking Alicante to Valencia....a short while ago......you have to keep your wits about you, when the rain is this heavy.
