Sunday Swim

A long distance swim.....2.5 km.... took place this morning from the beach front......here you can see the some of the hundred or so competitors going down into the sea.......safety boats bobbing around on the not-so-blue sea.
Glorious rain today!....local residents, farmers, gardeners, water engineers etc. are delighted!...
A pity for the Race Organisers....who were obviously expecting a sunny day ....but the swimmers were alway going to get wet .....so it's the spectators who had the umbrellas!!
