When you're smiling
The whole world smiles with you

The sunshine came to see us today and stayed all day, rather lovely to renew our acquaintance; been a while. Had an unusually long lie in, got up, made lemon drizzle cake ... Then met J and K for lunch, very chilled .... went 'round the food festival market stalls (where I saw this strange and slightly scary balloon twister on stilts) and bought bread and curry sauces and samosas and goats cheese. J and K came back for tea and cake in the garden, and after they went we planned our trip to Istanbul. Love doing this, you really start to feel like you are there. We're within easy walking distance of the Topkapi, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. But I have also found out that our first night in the city coincides with the supermoon eclipse which is rather exciting.

Been a rather lovely endless day; still only 6pm. Maybe because I have relaxed rather than feeling I have to be doing lots of jobs. Smiling now and still got the evening to enjoy ...
