"Painted" Mums

I pretty much haven't been out of the house since I got home from vacation on Tuesday night. Man cold, and a bad one.

But, I finally feel better today. On the mend, I think.

I ventured outdoors with the tiny mum plant I bought. The flowers are just a little bigger than a quarter. Mums are nice because they come in so many colors.

Being sick, I've watched more of the U.S. Open (tennis) than I've ever watched. My neck hurts from rotating my head back and forth from one side of the net to the other. (Not really.)

And...I feel good enough that I'm off to the kitchen to cook supper. Baked chicken, mashed taters, and corn on the cob.
