Whirligigs

Out early for a rather blustery Park Run at Sewerby. Running uphill into the wind was a challenge.

This afternoon was a bit brighter as we walked out to have a look at the newly completed flood works. This made the national news last night so it was worth checking out. The area is still fenced to allow the reseeded grass to take root and will reopen in Spring. It was not particularly photogenic so will wait until I can get closer next Spring.

I found these Sycamore seeds and liked the effect against the blue sky.
