But I'm Hiding in the Small Print ....

So, being a big Leonard Nimoy Fan I was really eager to get into town today - there was going to be a Vulcan about. 

... Hmm. 

Once I got past my initial disappointment, I was quite happy to sit on the beach wall and watch the Air Show from a distance  - this Vulcan swooped and climbed all over Ayr Bay, very graceful, and thankfully because of the distance, very quiet. 

She finished and headed closer for the airport - and another jet took her place, but as we walked back to the car park through the town, she came back over head, again, and again, and again, and again with another plane in tow. 

I decided that as this would be the last show she was taking part in, she was just making the most of it.   It was only when Tooli phoned -  that we found out that there had been a problem with it's landing gear and the plane accompanying it was giving them a visual update on the landing gear problem. 

Safe to say, Landing gear problem resolved, and Vulcan is now happily parked in the airport ready for the static display tomorrow.
