Meeting in a shower

Oh dear - I'm back to seascapes and rain today, I'm afraid, though now, a couple of hours after I took the above the sun is out and the sky looking distinctly as if the "better weather following on behind" has arrived as promised. Too late for me, however - it's almost time to go and eat the curry whose smell is drifting tantalisingly up the stairs ...

So this shows the two substantial ferries that cross from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay as they meet in mid-Firth, their meeting coinciding with a very obvious rainstorm which was passing down the Ayrshire coast at the time. We really see our weather coming in these parts ...
