Light on water

Another lovely day had me feeling I was truanting as I set off at 10am to meet a friend and go for a walk - when I was teaching, on a morning such as today's, I was always tempted not to turn up the brae to the school but to keep driving out of town and on to ... wherever the road took me.

Today it took me back to the River Eachaig, glittering here in the sun under the trees. A change from landscapes and torrents, in the ripples and light on the brown water.
