Bailgate Post Office.

I had some post to send out today so instead of using the local one, for Fitbit/exercise purposes I walked up to the Bailgate one. I also had the idea of photographing it for Blip while I was there. 

It's a lovely traditional little post office. There don't seem to be too many of these left now which is a shame. I guess with the advent of email and other internet services fewer people use the post office. Most of Lincoln's now seem to be part of other shops.

 There were two on the Main road when I moved here. Now just one remains, and it is part of the Co-op. 

The one I have Blipped does sell other things, but it also offers a wider range of services than the one I normally use.
