Pea soup

Lovely drive to work this morning, through thick swirling fog, surprisingly the locals drive better in fog than in rain (rain always guarantees traffic chaos).

Had to go to the local council office after torturing my Germans, to pick up the teen's driving licence. Fortunately I'd booked an appointment online so my wait wasn't interminable, merely unnecessary - why on earth they can't stick stuff like that in the post and save everyone's time, I don't know.
