Arthur's Seat
Last day in Edinburgh and Scotland. The weather was cloudy but blue sky was breaking through in parts so I decided to climb Arthur's seat -a beautiful park with rolling hills and rocky outcrops and spectacular panoramic views over Edinburgh. It's actually the remains of an old volcanic plug. It was incredibly windy at the top! After too many photos I started the descent, passing quite a few others that had the same idea. Some were even walking their dogs up to the top! The whole park is a maze of different pathways and a real treasure to have in the middle of the city.
Catching a train down to London this afternoon, so said goodbye to N. this morning and will be greeted by my friend C. tonight!
