Today in AD 301 St Marinus founded the republic of San Marino which is one of the smallest nations in the world, and in 1855 in Nebraska 700 soldiers massacre 100 men women & children of the Sioux Nation.

In 1994 the famous English footballer / manager Bill Wright died. Interestingly he was married to the eldest Beverley Sister (Joy) who's death was announced yesterday aged 91 years.
