Spotted!
Dactylorhiza fuchsii, the Common Spotted Orchid, the Uk's most common orchid, as its name suggests.
My plants came from the garden of a friend where they had naturalised. Seedlings appeared in pots and troughs where the soil must have contained the mycorrhizal fungi necessary for breaking down the seed coat and feeding the newly germinated seedlings.
Used to be known as Orchis fuchsii
