Down in the Meadow

I have a small corner of the front garden that I call my meadow. It wasn't planned to be a meadow but has evolved to be so ..... the weeds nearly won. In spring and autumn there are bulbs in flower, in high summer tall grass and wild flowers. Here is Dianthus carthusianorum, widespread the the mountains of Europe where it thrives in dry grassy places. Ideal for down in my meadow.
