Reading... John Muir

A recent visit to Dunbar and some casting about to think about my next walking challenge finds me reading John Muir - The Wilderness Trails.   I enjoyed the first book about his boyhood, then got annoyed every time he mentioned drinking brackish water until he ended up with Typhoid.  You kind of knew that would happen.  But as soon as he reaches the Sierra he is a changed man and the writing becomes so much more lively and descriptive.
