Red Turks Cap

Another lily has just opened out this week. I've grown this one in a pot for the first time this year. I used the Watercolour effect for this shot.
Another busy day. Cleared some of the produce beds. I'm so tempted to fill them up again but it really is a labour intensive chore. Having said that, I enjoyed using the last of the rhubarb in a rhubarb and polenta cake, blackcurrant and apple crumbles for the freezer and I've also chopped up the last of the basil and frozen it in ice cube trays. Great for adding to tomato sauces in the winter.
