Watching TV with Grandy

Today was the last day of Emily's school holiday. Mum and dad were back to work so she spent the day with us. She brought a bag full of stuff to keep us all entertained, including her birthday present, Tom, her build a bear, toy dog, complete with shoes and a coat ;-)

We played word search, colouring, cards, watched 3 movies(!), as the weather was wet yet again! Emily polished off a large serving of Spag Bol, as she calls it, for her lunch, followed by two shortbread biscuits.

Emily calls hub "Grandy" and at 7, clearly not too old to sit on his knee whilst watching The book of Life, which they both enjoyed ;-)

We took Emily back to her house just after five, so she could have her tea and then early to bed, as she will be up at 6.30 tomorrow as mum has a business meeting, so it's breakfast club for 7.30am.

I didn't sleep very well last night so am flagging already tonight......I think I will be in bed shortly zzzzzzzz ;-)
